Interim Accountant – ACA – London and Thames Valley

NZ CA with 4 years applied accounting experience. Having recently relocated to London under a Youth Mobility Visa now looking for an interim role.

• NZ CA with 4 years applied accounting experience in an Australasian mid-tier firm
• Proficient in all areas of financial accounting including preparation and review of financial statements, general ledger, profit & loss.
• Budgeting and forecasting specialist, with experience in creating budgets, cashflows and financial models for a wide variety of clients across multiple industries.
• Excellent management accounting skills including budgeting, forecasting, cash flows, variance analysis, preparation of monthly management reporting, business valuation and financial modelling to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Strong skills in analysis and interpretation of financial statements
• Core skills in NZ Tax compliance
• Key skills in the identification of business and system process improvement opportunities
• Significant experience in the creation and review of NZ IFRS compliant financial statements for companies for which I was the key contact for the client’s auditors.
• Extensive experience in providing accounting software transitions, with the completion of multiple application advisory scoping projects. A wide range of experience with setting up accounting software for a variety of products relating to the Xero ecosystem, and coaching clients in its use.
