Management Accountant – ACCA – London

Experienced working with medium & large enterprises in industries including energy, home security & hospitality. Possesses a robust understanding of IFRS 10, 15, 16, FRS 102, UK GAAP & UK Tax Legislation.

Experience includes:

• Responsible for the production of month-end consolidated accounts
• Sole responsibility for maintaining and updating the Fixed Asset Register
• Led the balance sheet reconciliation of Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Accruals/Prepayments, VAT
• Spearheading the oversight of loans, deep discounted bonds, & share-based payments
• Prepared comprehensive monthly OPEX-CAPEX reports, offering insightful analysis & commentary.
• Managed external relationships with Banks & HMRC, overseeing the submission of VAT, PAYE, & Tax filings.
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure spending aligned with budgetary allocations.
• Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts, contributing to effective liquidity management.
• Playing a key role in the annual budgeting process, providing valuable insights & financial projections.
• Managed the UK/France/Nigeria Treasury function, serving also as the primary point of contact for the group's cash affairs.
• Advised other team members on complex accounting issues related to Intercompany Balances, FX, Accruals, Grants
