• Responsible for drafting and presenting a IFRS Financial statement.
• Performed large data set analytics on NZ companies to search for trends in the industry which was included in the BDO NZ 2023 survey.
• Managed all clients (over 800) income tax and GST returns to make sure they had been filed and paid by the due dates.
• Prepared information Memorandum for the sale of a company.
• Managed junior team member’s review of Financial Statements, Income TaxReturns, GST Returns and FBT Returns.
• Responsible for the analysis of a potential business purchase for a client.
• Prepared and calculated provisional tax slips for 100+ clients and found the best solution for the client dependant on cash flow positions at the time of payment.
• Continuous communication with the IRD to help set up instalment arrangements and other areas where clients needed tax help.
• Provide annual benchmarking analysis for construction clients against their competitors.
• Responsible for managing seamless and successful client and partner engagements to maximise client experience.
