**Key Responsibilities:**

• Drive innovation through the implementation of new data service technologies and architectures
• Hands-on Java Development
• Work in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments
• Utilize Agile Technical practices, such as TDD, Continuous Integration & Pair programming

**Tech Stack and Environment:**

• Java development (JBOSS, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate)
• Developing for the cloud (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS SDK)
• Strong Object-Oriented programming skills
• Service-Oriented Architectures: REST, SOAP
• Linux
• Development of Rich Web Applications (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, UI/UX design)
• Relational Databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)
  

**Required Experience and Knowledge:**

• Solid experience working on bespoke built enterprise OO applications
• Wide knowledge of open-source languages, tools, and frameworks
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Test Automation
• Proven experience making technical decisions on commercial projects
• Involved with all aspects of software delivery and life cycle, from inception to delivery
• Strong familiarity with Agile Software delivery methodology and technical practices
• Ability to introduce Agile techniques and mentor teams effectively
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with Version Control & Continuous Integration
