I need to be totally honest with you, I’m not comfortable with the whole selfie thing. ?
As Gen Xer it all feels a bit weird, I never think they look that great!
You’ve got to remember I grew up in a world where capturing a moment meant waiting a week for the film to develop and then hoping that at least one shot turned out okay!
But…..as you may know the LinkedIn algorithm absolutely loves a cheesy selfie of a slightly manic looking smiling, wide eyed, white toothed wrinkle free face!
So I’m giving it my best shot!
So friends and colleagues if you see me post a selfie….for the record, please let me assure you that I’ve not suddenly become a self obsessed narcissist…..
And I promise you the midlife crisis came and went with the BMW convertible a few years ago!
I’m doing it because I need to make a humble living and it looks like this is what my industry has descended into ffs!
So with that in mind, does anyone in my network know of any good contacts for hair replacement, beard dye, botox and teeth whitening?
It’s looking like I’m going to need some help if I’m going to survive in the world of social selling and recruitment!
Especially as I approach the big 5O next month ?
