System Engineer - in the Electromechanical team of the Systems Engineering department.
This position is responsible for the Systems Engineering activities within the Electro-Mechanical Integrated Product Team. From project inception, through design, build, integration, qualification and operation, the role is responsible for maintaining system requirements, conducting in-depth analyses and supporting system verification. At all product life-cycle stages the role is expected to report on the work carried out through a variety of mediums including documentation, IPT meetings and presentations to all levels of the business.
RESPONSIBILITY
Manage stakeholder needs and conduct requirements analyses as directed across all disciplines and generate specifications accordingly.
Conducting verification testing at both system and subsystem level including the analysis of results to produce verification evidence.
Support programme management and technical leads in conducting feasibility and trade studies.
Prepare a wide range of technical documents including internal, customer and contract defined deliverables.
Skill
Excellent problem solving investigative skills and data analysis skills
o Understanding of software development
o Understanding of UML or SysML and its use in MBSE
o Understanding of electronics development
