Senior Process Engineer – Consulting, Designing and delivering Air pollution control systems around the UK and Global sites and clients.

As the Senior Process Engineer your Design remit will be:

• Develop cost effective process solutions for clients’ process requirements.
• Prepare Design Output Registers, Process Flow Diagrams, Energy and Mass Balances, P&IDs, calculations, datasheets, schedules Process Control Philosophies, Design Risk Assessments and other project documentation as required in order to hand over to the mechanical and electrical engineering designers to undertake the mechanical, electrical and process instrumentation detail designs.
• Maintain process design files for each project containing design calculations, flow diagrams, P&IDs, datasheets, schedules and relevant project documentation to meet the requirements of the company’s quality, safety and environmental certification.

• 2:1 Degree or Higher Chemical or Process Engineering – UK / EU University
• UK Chartered engineer status
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of process design within Chemical Process Plants ideally with specialist experience in Gas Scrubbing Technologies
• Full UK driving licence & valid passport.

Right to work in the UK and based West Sussex

• Knowledge of Gas Scrubbing technologies and Scrubber design
• Knowledge of the appropriate UK & local standards and codes of practice
• Ability to exercise sound and sensible judgement with regards to Engineering Risk
• Ability to communicate and interact openly, directly and constructively internally and externally with clients.
• Confidence to stand by Health and Safety judgments and not be pressured into compromises.
• Ability to prioritise and organise own work schedule effectively
