Senior C# .NET Developer

Foobar Recruitment is excited to partner with a global leader in derivatives and commodity trading software, analysis, and management to source a senior software engineer / full stack C# .NET Developer for their Cambridge office.

Our client has broken new ground in these markets, offering advanced tools from full portfolio management, to hedge pricing, through mathematical analysis methods such as Monte Carlo simulations and so much more. This software has proven critical not just for financial trading houses, but also enterprise-level organisations that are involved in both using and selling the commodities on the market.

You will be using modern software tools and best practices, and be given the flexibility to make decisions about how to best solve the problems in software development and which tools will be best suited to the job at hand.

Flexible and employee-oriented, our client is keen to offer the best working environment possible for all staff members. To fit in with that an element of office working is critical. As such we are looking for candidates who are keen on spending about half their time in the office, and half their time working from home (of course you can work in the office more if you prefer). The office is located a stone’s throw from Cambridge train station, with flexible working hours.
