Senior Quantity Surveyor - Residential Developer – London & Hertfordshire

A leading UK residential developer are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be part of a series of new projects in South East London and Hertfordshire region.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of a new joint venture development for the council, where 10 sites have been acquired across the Hatfield, Woolwich and Beckton. Projects consist of a JCT contract and are new build residential houses and apartments.

The Senior Quantity Surveyors role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will take full commercial responsibility for a handful of projects in the one of the above regions, being responsible for procurement of subcontractors, cost reporting, valuations and variations, along with final accounts.

Reporting to the Head Of Commercial, the position requires Senior Quantity Surveyors who likes to work autonomously on projects, ensuring that the sites are well managed from acquisition to completion.

Previous experience coming from a Main Contractor or Developer and can demonstrate previous success running JCT new build residential developments.

This position could suit someone who is looking to progress to a Senior, or perhaps a Senior Surveyor who is looking for a change.
