As the new hire into this growing business with an ambitious HR agenda, you’ll find that you’re not just coaching managers and overseeing ER casework. You’ll be given the opportunity to embed new process and practices as the HR Lead implements a smorgasbord of new initiatives and kickstarts a number of high impact HR projects in 2022. Not only this, but you will work with your client group on cyclical activities such as appraisal, pay and talent reviews so will start to bridge the gap to becoming an HR Business Partner.
Senior HR Advisor
Hybrid (2-3 in the office)
Reporting to the HR Lead and working alongside 1 other, you’ll support a segment of the business as their primary HR contact. You’ll have the support of an HR admin team to ensure you are as productive as possible and will play a key role in the embedding of any new policies or delivery of HR projects. ER volumes will not be big, but casework will likely be varied. Management capability is a mixed bag so you’ll have some great managers to work with and some new managers who need a little help getting it right – add in the fact that hybrid working is still a relatively new concept, and getting it right first time isn’t guaranteed; you’ll be a key figure in supporting the management population.
As for the stuff outside of directly supporting managers, you’ll play your part in delivering the HR Lead’s strategy for 2022. This is quite a sprawling agenda with new talent management processes, an improved learning and development offering and a revamp to the reward framework on the cards, you’ll not be short of project areas to support and will always be busy training out and embedding new ways of working.

We’re looking for a charismatic, level headed individual with a positive outlook on embedding change and tackling difficult conversations. You’ll ideally have strong experience in coaching managers, have had some exposure to supporting projects, or embedding new processes and will feel at home working with a predominantly desk based client group. CIPD would be advantageous but most importantly, the HR Lead is looking for someone with a spring in their step, a desire to have an impact and an ambition to learn and progress.
