My client is a fast-growing solutions provider and is looking for a Development Manager / C# Technical Lead to work within their Telecoms division. This is a new and growing team, with the scope to innovate and to work on brand new projects and solutions.

The successful candidate will be one who thrives in an environment where they are given more open briefs where there is lots of potential to craft genuinely interesting, customer-centric solutions.

You will be managing a small remote team of 3 Technical Developers and 1 Tester. You may need to visit London once every few months to get the whole team together. You won’t be writing code personally, but you will need to be knowledgeable enough to guide/steer, and coach the developers. The role covers BA/Scoping Requirements/Architecture, Stakeholder Management, and Team Management on a 33% split. You don't have to have experience in C#, although this would be ideal - It can be Java, Python, or PHP as long as you are happy to learn C# As long as you can review code the software language isn't essential.

You will have enough software knowledge to allow you to deliver the projects utilising the development team, be confident and willing to liaise with the stakeholders and be self-motivated. You will be working autonomously for this area and have the analysis / PM and technical knowledge to shape the outcome of the business requirements into tangible results.

The role will report to the CTO for Telecoms and will be located at the group’s Head Office in Cheshire.
