At KC Partners we are currently working with a large full-service international law firm in their search for a Real Estate Lawyer - Residential (2-5 PQE) to come and join their leading Real Estate practice.

About the team

This is one of the largest full-service law firms operating across the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North America, and a top-tier real estate practice group with years of experience who act for main housebuilders and landowners advising on all aspects of residential development including (but not limited to) financing, site acquisition and disposal work, conditional contracts, overage, strategic land options and collaboration agreements.

About the Role

This a fantastic opportunity for someone with a breadth and depth of experience to join an expanding and high-performing global team to work on a broad range of residential real estate matters such as enfranchisement, residential development, refurbishment, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, portfolio management and finance. You will be involved in big ticket transactions acting for a mix of UK and international high-net-worth clients.

About you

  • Excellent academic background (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in core real estate work including; enfranchisement, rights of first refusal, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, portfolio management and finance and development transactions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Good drafting skills
  • A team player and be equally able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and to effectively problem solve
  • Ability to build exceptional relationships with internal and external contacts.
