This is an international UK headquartered law firm with a long-standing reputation of delivering a high-standard service to an enviable client base operating across global markets. The Construction- Non-Contentious cross-disciplinary team is top tier 2 ranked according to legal directories and handles substantial development finance and project finance deals. The team advises on the whole range of construction, engineering and procurement issues across a broad range of sectors such as retail and town centre regeneration, office, leisure, residential, hotel, education, mining, waste and energy, highlighting their expertise in social infrastructure including residential development and student accommodation and domestic and international construction projects including hotel and energy projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a Construction lawyer (2 - 5 PQE) to join a busy team to work on a variety of construction matters. The work will focus predominantly on advising high-profile clients on a wide range of non-contentious matters. You will handle your own cases (with the appropriate supervision on complex matters.

About you

  • Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent.
  • Non-contentious construction experience gained at a large or mid-tier firm, including building work, and preferably with process plant, energy, utility and/or infrastructure experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Strong organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
  • A team player with the ability to actively support complex transactions, liaising and coordinating with fee earners from other relevant disciplines as needed.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-class client care.
