At KC Partners we are currently working with one of our key clients a leading UK and international law firm, who are looking to grow and strengthen their large and global commercial disputes practice with two new strong hires.

About the team

A market-leading commercial disputes practice and one of the firm's largest department with a long-standing reputation. Their professional negligence team is ranked in top tier 1 according to legal directories and their specialist lawyers are based across the firm's extensive network of offices in the UK and worldwide. The team has a deep understanding of commercial reputation and regulatory issues. The group handles some of the most complex and high-value claims acting for leading firms, Big Four accountants and multinational insurance brokers among its client base.

About the role

You will join on a permanent basis a large and international team, one of the most active disputes firms in the UK, with a long-standing reputation and a breadth of expertise across a variety of sectors, widely acclaimed by their top tier 1 rated professional negligence practice. You will work on high value and cross-border commercial disputes and regulatory investigations work. You will also be involved in standout work, particularly, defending claims in the legal, financial services, and insurance sectors working alongside notable practitioners in the field. There are scope and opportunity for a variety of work.

About you

  • Stellar academics (2:1/1:1 minimum).
  • Commercial disputes and/or Regulatory background.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technical excellence.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Teamwork and collaborative approach.
  • Strong client relationship skills and willingness to get involved in business development activities.
  • UK Qualification
