Alexander James Recruiting is currently representing rapidly developing Racking & Storage dealer that sell the products of a market leading manufacturer. They are looking to hire a new Contracts Manager to work on a part-time basis from home to oversee their contracts nationwide. With a competitive salary and a degree of flexibility, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Contracts focused individual looking to move into a part-time role.


  • Carrying out contract work and ensure all projects are carried out in accordance with the correct ISO standards
  • Liaising with the sales and installations teams to ensure smooth running of projects
  • Coordinating sales estimates, specifications and purchasing negotiations
  • Liaising with various areas of the business as well as suppliers to ensure racking and storage solutions are provided on time and to budget
  • Ensuring smooth running of projects from start to finish by being the main customer contact


The company require an individual with previous experience in a racking capacity or within a closely related industry within a contract focused role. You will have a good understand of the processes involved with a Racking & Storage project and have experience in overseeing such projects. You will have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and be able to communicate effectively with various parties and types of people. There is a preference for candidates with autoCAD experience, both in a design and reading capacity. In terms of location, this is a national role and can be carried out from home, but you will be expected to do site visits from time to time and a milage allowance is provided to subsidize this.

The Company

Our client are a national provider of various types of racking and storage systems in addition to office interior and refurbishment services. Having been established for a year now, they are developing a strong setup and footing in the racking market selling the products of a market leading manufacturer. Their range of racking products include pallet, narrow aisle, push back and wide aisle in addition to shelving. Due to continued growth, they're looking to take a new part-time Contracts Manager to oversee a number of their contracts within their growing client base.
