Surrey / Hampshire£34,000 - £41000 Dependent on experience+ Overtime + Rota for 24/7 Support (extra earnings)We are currently seeking 2x Technical Support Engineers, on behalf of our client, working out of one of their offices in Surrey and Hampshire.
These are permanent roles, with a great salary and benefits package for the selected candidate.
Responsibilities - Join on call rota, following training on products
- Documentation support
- Provide technical support and training to customers
- Hardware Support
- Software Scripting
- Network Support
- Test and verify new technology
- Implement third party intergration
- Provide support to companies field engineers
- Provide support via written, email and over the phone
- Timely resolution of issues
- Prioritise issues & problems, seeking timely closure
Desired Experiences
- Application Testing
- ITIL Foundation
- Linux - scripting, command line usage
- Networking - Understanding of networking, components and configuration
- Understanding of database including SQL
