A rare opening exists for a Management Accountant to join this Solutions Provider to the Travel Industry based in Woking. Reporting to the FC you will be responsible for the Monthly Management and Annual Statutory Accounts and provide Business Partnering Support to the various departments.

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include :

• Ownership of accounts of The Global Travel and full grip of the numbers
• Liaising with the centralised processing team
• Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP, liaising with the auditors
• Supporting the Group head of Finance on production of monthly management reports
• Ensure timely and accurate production of all internal and external reporting requirements for both the business and the regulatory authorities
• Budgeting and forecasting. Discussion with each dept to get realistic figures
• Providing variance analysis and commentary on key trends
• Confident with Excel
• Oversee the credit control function. Deal with the queries
• Ensure numerous and varied ad hoc reporting requirements are met
• Cash management and control
• Weekly cash flow reports
• Quarterly VAT return and recs

The ideal Management Accountant will be a Part Qualified Accountant who is confident, articulate and communicative with good interpersonal skills, possesses Good Excel skills, computer literate with multiple systems experience (Sage Line 50 experience would be advantageous) and in return will receive a salary between £40k-£50k
