Small Slough, Berkshire based accountancy practice have a requirement for an Accountant with a minimum of 5 years recent small/medium sized firm accountancy practice experience to join them as their Accounts Manager with the opportunity for Partnership Share.
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Manager Role are to manage the smooth running of the practice to allow the director to take a back seat. This will involve managing a team of 5 including training and development, managing workloads and work allocation, ensuring client relationships are maintained and all systems and processes are managed to a high standard. You will also be managing your own portfolio and therefore you must have a full understanding of statutory accounting and be conversant with latest accounting standards, business and personal taxation, management accounting, Vat and Payroll etc
It will also be expected that as the Accounts Manager you can present results in client year end reviews making commercial and best business recommendations where appropriate and assist with new client prospect meetings. You will also have overall responsibility for managing best business practice projects including implementation of practice management, document management systems etc. This is an excellent opportunity with great prospects for a confident and experienced individual who is looking for a Partnership Opportunity.
