SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR - £50-60k + car and benefits package

One of the UK's Leading independent home builders are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. You will be joining a highly reputable company with over 60 years experience in the industry. They maintain traditional values while also continually adapting to customers needs, they uphold enviable reputation for delivering excellent customer service and quality homes.

They are looking for an individual who can confidently plan and implement build cost controls for its developments across the North West. You will provide a vital link between site teams, sub-contractors, technical team, land team, and the senior leadership team for the division.

The role will involve attending site visits and sub-contractor meetings, and proactively sourcing new local subcontractors, provide monthly assessments of materials, ensure costs are controlled and tenders managed.

Knowledge & Specific Job Skills:

• House building experience.
• Sound construction background and practical knowledge.
• IT Literate – Windows & Excel.
• Good interpersonal and negotiating skills.
• To carry out premeasure & remeasures of work packages when required.
• Scheduling of materials prior to procurement.
• Use of COINS accounting system. (essential)
