Senior Software Sales Consultant - London / Remote UK - £50,000 plus OTE & Package
Our client has a unique and innovative online software platform designed and developed in-house to help venues deliver an efficient and well marketed solution for the lettings of their facilities.
- Manage the end to end sales process of the new software to public sector and commercial organisations
- Cultivate solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales.
- Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals
- Study industry trends to understand how to best penetrate the market and gain consumer interest
- Work quickly to solve consumer complaints to retain business, and build the companys reputation
- Conducting in-depth research on competitors products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
- Analyse sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective
- Regularly visit existing accounts to maintain professional business relations
- Research and cold call to identify potential customers and to find out their needs
- Serve as a mentor to the existing salesperson and assist in training regarding effective delivery solutions
- Create and deliver sales presentations that are compelling, accurate, and informative
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Attitudes
- Bachelors degree in business management or administration, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.
- Certified Sales Professional (CSP) accreditation is advantageous.
- Proven sales management experience to the public sector
- Knowledge of public sector procurement protocols
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as ZenDesk
- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
