Over 30 years' experience in Contract and Consultancy in all areas of Plastic Injection Moulding. Particularly Product, Mould Design, Tool Management, DFM’s, New Product and Equipment Introduction and Production Management.

• 6+ years contracting to various Medical Device manufacturers as a Moulding Engineer and Works Package Manager responsible for Equipment Requirement Specification through Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification. Dealing with capital equipment suppliers and subcontractors. Managing both personnel and equipment availability to maintain and improve Production outputs. Reporting to Senior Management on all activities.


• The last 18 months Senior Project Technical Lead responsible for Moulding Engineering, Tooling Engineering and Process Engineering for the introduction additional capacity into Operations. This covers all the Equipment, Tooling and Validation. 4 complete IMM Cells including all ancillaries and associated robot and automation.

• In 2015 I managed a program on behalf of an Injection Moulding Company in the UK for 6 months to complete a mould sourcing project of 17 moulds.

• Weekly reporting of timing plans and regular communications with Moulding Company and end Customer, including visits and teleconferences.

• 16 moulds sourced in China. DFM’s and Mould design reviews to suit Customer requirements, T0 and T1 trials delivered on time.

• 1 mould sourced in UK. DFM’s and mould designs to suit Customer requirements, T0 samples delivered on time.
