Lead UI Engineer

We help our clients design and develop ground-breaking innovative technologies. For big-name brands and cutting-edge start-ups alike. We deliver bespoke technical solutions that need to have intuitive and engaging user experiences that we want you to help us deliver. We have built a digital delivery team to design and deliver innovative digital services that encompass the wide variety of technology we work on. Think: therapeutic connected devices that treat brain injury patients. Smart heating systems. Configuration interfaces for networks of wireless robots.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of expert engineers and designers creating new products and services for our clients. You can expect:

  • Huge variety - We work with clients across many markets including Smart Infrastructure, Autonomous Industrial Robotics, Energy, Consumer, Agritech, Defence, Aerospace, Medical and Health. Your first project could be in any of these and your next project is likely going to be in something completely different.
  • Freedom to select tools and frameworks - Almost every project we do is greenfield. You will get to decide on which frameworks, libraries and tools are best to meet the needs of the project. We need to stay on top of the latest and greatest in the industry, so you'll have an active role in helping us explore and asses new technologies.
  • Great teams - You will get to work with talented teams of software engineers, front-end developers, user experience and service designers, mathematicians, tests engineers and DevOps specialists.

Skills

  • Have a good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Build data visualisations using D3, ThreeJS, Vega or even Vanilla JS
  • Work as part of a team to plan and organise projects.
  • Define our strategy to stay up-to-date with the latest UI technologies.
  • Deliver work to a high standard.
  • Share what you learn with the group to help us grow together.
