Hey guys, so we at Consistent Recruitment are super excited to be working with this creative, fun, Global brand who we are incredibly lucky to have based smack bang in our lovely Harlow!

For this Operations Assistant vacancy, we need you to have accurate, organised, Administration skills with clear communication to ensure you are getting and giving the right information to internal departments, suppliers, couriers and shipping agents. As I must point out on all jobs where applicable this is an office-based job in Harlow, there is no element of remote working/working from home (sorry…...)

You and your new team will ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently in production, delivery and operations in general. You will be project managing all orders and deliveries into the company which is where your organisation comes in.

There is no sugar coating the fact that this is a fast-paced environment. We need you to be proactive and reactive to deal with any unexpected issues. To make you an ideal candidate for this Operations Assistant job I expect you to have at least one years’ experience of administration along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a reminder, you must be able to multitask and prioritise your workload while working under pressure. Sounds scary doesn't it but it really isn't as full training is provided.

Quick run-through of daily duties,

  • Managing schedules
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Production of weekly reports
  • Liaising with suppliers (hence the good communication needed), you will be working closely with their Far East factory to prioritise orders
  • Reviewing and processing of supplier invoices and confirmation of orders
  • Sending invoices to customs agent for sea freight
  • General administration as always, you never know what is going to crop up
  • Review of stock data to ensure accuracy in the process
  • Assist Head of Operations and your fellow team members as needed (fab team here)


  • Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Sage / SAP would be an advantage
  • Working Excel experience
  • Excellent written communication ability
  • The ability to cope with the pressure of deadlines
  • Fantastic team player would be ideal, your team are waiting for you!

With a generous salary of between £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience you will be joining a strong leisure brand in Harlow, ideally you will bring along a sense of fun to blend in with the existing team.

25 days holiday PLUS bank holidays
Hours of work; 8.00 - 5.15, Mon - Thursday with a 4.00 pm finish on Friday, Happy Days. Pension, Annual bonus, regular team events including an annual holiday!! Not sure where that may be, but I would pack a swimsuit just in case.
