Are you ready to play a pivotal role in our Software Sales Team, embedded within our Technical Pre-Sales function of Business Solutions and Services? We're looking for an experienced Cloud Sales Operations Expert to elevate our operations and customer success. You will have 3 years’ experience of cloud sales operation within the Microsoft portfolio

Your mission will be to streamline and consolidate our Marketplace portfolio management across multiple business units. You'll lead the onboarding of all new customers, striving for a 100% retention rate, and provide critical support, advice, and guidance to both new and existing customers.

We need someone with proven experience in Cloud Sales Operations, skilled in managing licensing, contracts, and compliance. You should also have expertise in Software Asset Management & Compliance and be adept at maintaining high standards of service across multiple software solutions, particularly within the Microsoft portfolio.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Management of the marketplace inbox and supporting with billing issues, credits, manual orders, and invoicing.
  • Monitor and support all incoming communication from customers around support and licence/product queries.
  • Manage the onboarding process for monthly billing until such time as customer engagements pass to the Customer Success Manager
  • Proactively manage and secure software renewals working to a T-60-day renewal plan, working to attain 100% retention rate and upsell/cross-sell through the process.
  • Building strong relationships with wider business and collaborating with our external suppliers
  • Being the first point of contact for any updates and responsible for supporting calls for customer stakeholders around licensing and commitment requirements.
  • Deliver customer marketplace demos, encouraging all customers to adopt self-service.
  • Support the Vendor Alliance Managers with collecting revenue statistics and monitoring the success of growth across key Marketplace vendors.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Candidates can work from Manchester, Northampton, Chippenham, or London.
