We have a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd line Support Engineer to join a leading IT Support company (MSP) in Northampton to provide technical support to their Nationwide Customer base, including installation and migration services. The ideal Candidate will have a passion for Microsoft technologies, with strong commercial experience with Azure, Cloud, AD, Office365 etc (MS certification would be advantageous, although not essential)
Experience with Routers / Firewalls (Watchguard / Cisco / draytek), Backup software (Backup Exec - Veeam) and Antivrus Software (Sophos - Symantec) would be highly beneficial, along with Office 365. It is essential you have supported at 3rd line level in a busy IT support environment. You will be the final point of escalation on the servicedesk.
Utilising your experience of either onsite IT projects work or working as a Field Engineer, you'll ideally have experience of multiple installations of MS Server 2007/10/12 or SBS 2008 / 11, and providing onsite 3rd line support thereafter including general Microsoft, Active Directory, and Ms365, Azure and troubleshooting etc.
