We have a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd/ line Support Engineer to join a leading Motorsport company based in the Silverstone area, to provide technical support within the company. In this role, the successful person will be required to provide the highest level of 2nd line technical IT support on all incident and service requests, and fulfilling the IT service requirements of all personnel across the organisation

Essential Skills

  • Office 365 - Administration and Support
  • Azure/Active Directory experience
  • Previous experience working with call logging and ticketing systems
  • Good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Operating Systems & Microsoft Office.
  • Building and configuring desktops, laptops, and mobile devices to meet the requirements of our customers.
  • Experience working with a broad range of systems and peripherals including laptops, desktops, and printers.
  • Good working knowledge and experience with remote administration tools and software deployment tools.
  • End user support – troubleshoot software and hardware issues reported to the IT Service Desk.
  • Experience using an ITSM Toolset e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, IFS assyst
  • Must be capable of working unsupervised, to agreed SLAs.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Using your interpersonal skills to develop strong, positive relationships with customers.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to recognise any issue that significantly disrupts our business-critical activities and escalate accordingly.
  • A great team player, with the ability to mentor, train, and guide team members.
