My client are a fast-growing IT Technology company that places a strong emphasis on teamwork, continuous learning, and ensuring the utmost customer satisfaction. Due to expansion within the business, they are actively seeking a skilled and self-motivated 1st line Technician to join their ServiceDesk team.

Job Description

As a 1st line Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing fast and efficient technical assistance to our valued customer base. Your primary responsibilities will include acting as the first escalation point for senior technicians and handling initial calls from customers seeking technical support either over the phone or via email. You will be responsible for performing remote and on-site troubleshooting using various tools and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

  • 1 year of prior customer service or service desk experience.
  • Competent in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with Office 365, Windows Servers, Hyper-V, VM Software, and computer/laptop repair.
  • knowledge of networks and hardware.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
  • Availability to commute to the office from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
