My clients are a market leader in the food supply chain industry with offices based in the Wellingborough area. Due to expansion we now have an exciting opportunity for a talented IT Support Engineer to join my clients and become a key member of their busy IT support team. As a Support Engineer, you will act as the initial point of contact for all IT support queries within the company. You will work directly with the IT Manager, you will work remotely but must be available as and when required to work onsite in the Wellingborough office. We will consider candidates that live in 15 mile radius from Wellingborough such as, Northampton, Rushden, Kettering etc.
As an ideal candidate for this fantastic IT support opportunity, you will have minimum 1 years recent employment in a technical Service support role environment supporting internal users, onsite, via telephone and remote access. It is essential that as a support engineer you have excellent interpersonal skills, with a confident and organised personality and be committed and driven to deliver excellent customer service at all times.
As a support engineer you will have the ability to demonstrate recent practical experience and a solid understanding of troubleshooting, supporting and administering: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Printers etc.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about IT Support, who has the ability to work under pressure, multitask and organise priorities, and have the ability and flexibility to take ownership of issues and work to tight timescales.
