Salary up to £70,000 +15% Bonus

Manchester City Centre - Remote First

One of Manchester's new and exciting scale-ups are looking to rapidly expand with the introduction of several new divisions to work with the existing business. They are looking for a number of Technical Leads to work on one of several brand new squads.

They are currently operating a remote-first strategy for the foreseeable future with no time or date set on going back to their brand new offices in Manchester City Centre, they believe if you want to work from home you can do!

The skills needed for the role include:-

• Experience with cloud based apps
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript
• Having a strong knowledge of the serverless space using any of AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, Docker
• Be able to give architectural guidanace and solutions
• Have a familiarilty with event driven architecture

The main responsibilities of this role will be: -

• Understand the product life cycle and the value to the customer
• Experienced with managing a cross functional team
• Collaborating within the team across all forms of Software Engineering including Product Owners and UX designers
• Identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes such as refactoring code
• Bringing fresh new ideas to put into production - no idea is unimportant!
• Having a strong testing mindset, no code should be written if you don't know how to test it first
