Senior Developer - ( React or Vue / Svelte / TypeScript / AWS / Kubernetes / Node )

Manchester - (2 days on-site but not required every week)

Fintech Company

A market-leading FinTech company based in the heart of Manchester are looking for a number of Senior Developers to join their existing teams. They are going through a massive period of transformation and are looking to re-platform and rebuild several of their platforms.

This company believes in using the latest tech across all of its projects. They are looking to use Svelte on some of their upcoming projects and are constantly reviewing their tech stacks across all their multi-disciplined teams if it makes sense to use different technologies, frameworks, or tools then they want to use them. They are currently looking to move away from a monolith to a microservices approach using Kubernetes, Docker and other AWS tools and functions.

Skills needed are: -

  • Experience of being a Senior Developer/Engineer
  • React or Vue
  • TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Node or Server-Side (Desirable)
  • AWS, MongoDB
  • Docker, Kubernetes (some knowledge of these)
  • Good knowledge of Unit Testing e.g. Jest, React Testing Library
  • Exprience with microservices architecture
  • Good knowledge of continuous integration

Responsibilities include: -

  • Being the main point of contact for the Tech Lead on the front-end discipline
  • Working with the Senior BE developer on any architectural changes
  • Working with the development team to deliver on current projects
  • Liaising with the Product Owners

They are looking to pay up to £60,000 with a wide range of benefits including Health, Travel discounts, and Dental Insurance as well as Childcare Vouchers. They have a very good flexible working policy with 2 days required in the office but in other weeks you won’t be required to be in the office at all.
