2 x Node Engineers ( Node / AWS / Docker / Kubernetes / Terraform )

Fully Remote + flexible working hours

Salary: - £50,000 +15% bonus +9% pension

A fully remote company within the logistics space is looking for 2 x Midweight Node Engineers to join their growing team. They have recently just appointed a Principal Engineer to head up the BE team and take ownership of the BE code and infrastructure and is looking for 2 additional hires within the Node/AWS space to help with the microservices architecture and work on existing projects as well as kickstart 5 brand new greenfield projects!

This company is a SaaS business that helps build white labeled products for their clients to assist with moving items throughout the world - ensuring that the tax, regulations, size, and delivery times are sorted using Data and Machine Learning across their products to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Skills needed: -

• Strong NodeJS experience in a serverless environment - also knowledge with Golang would be a huge bonus!
• Good understanding of AWS - if you have used Lambda, Docker, Cloudformation, API Gateway this would really benefit you
• Commercial experience with microservices architecture
• Understanding of Infrastructure within code such as Terraform
• Be able to use CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or various others

This company is rapidly expanding in 2021 - with there being 10 new hires by the end of the year and have grown organically. This is a great business for a Node Developer who values a great work/life balance as they have a stand up at 9:30am but after that you choose your own hours as well as being fully remote! There is also great opportunities to be heavily involved in learning Golang and adding a new skill to your arsenal.

Benefits: -

• Salary is up to £50,000
• 15% bonus - 80% personal performance / 20% company performance - this is paid out bi-annually in June and September
• 9% pension - company contributes 6%
• Fully Remote
• Flexible working hours - they have a stand up at 9:30am but after that you can manage your own time to deliver
• Salary reviews every 6 months
