Senior Product Designer
Location: Remote
Salary: $140,000 - 160,000 plus equity
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to reinforce our client's user-driven approach. As the first in-house UI/UX designer you will make an impact by driving the design of features that help software engineers across the globe!
The role also comes with the tremendous opportunity to establish the foundation for a more lovable user experience. As a small, fast-paced startup, they have the ability to respond quickly to customer requests and rapidly design and develop greenfield features. If you have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with developer tools or enterprise software applications, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our customers’ needs and help our client grow their customer base.
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Create design system components for products across our portfolio
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Requirements
- Basic technical understanding of DevOps, SaaS, Cloud
- Experience with designing developer tooling or enterprise software capabilities for technical users
- 4 years of UI / UX experience
- Motivated, Curious, Hungry, and Driven for a good user experience and design
- Knowledge of wireframe and design tools (e.g. Figma, InVision, Sketch, Balsamiq)
- Ability to work independently as well as with users across timezones
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills
