Position: Senior Controls Engineer or Control Systems Engineer

We're looking for a Controls Engineer or Senior Controls Engineer to work for a systems integrator in the Manchester / Stockport area.

The company work across a range of industries (aerospace, food, pharmaceutical, manufacturing) and use the latest servo, multi-robotic and vision systems to design and manufacture complex, bespoke systems.

No two days will be the same as you delve into a multitude of projects alongside a multi-disciplined team who are passionate about finding creative solutions for their customers. You will be challenged and inspired as you develop your skills in advanced industrial automation and contribute to the delivery of technologically advanced bespoke projects.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with programming software such as Siemens and Rockwell (TIA Portal, RSLogix, WinCC etc.)
• Control system design experience ideally within bespoke machinery, automation or robotics
• Experience in industries such as food, automotive, aerospace, and pharmaceutical/life science
• A full driving license is required for this role

Important info:

• Basic salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum
• Overtime: You'll also have the opportunity to earn overtime in this role
• Standard working hours for this position are 38 and flexible (8.00-4.45 Mon-Thu, 8.00-1.00 Fri)
• Due to the bespoke nature of projects, this role is mostly office based with the occasional opportunity to work from home
• Whilst things may change, customers are currently predominantly UK-based and travel is infrequent. When commissioning, you will be home every night and certainly every weekend.
