TRAINING MANAGER

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a Façade background within the façade/construction sector working in the shop and site environment. A proven track-record in management and training, which can be demonstrated.

• Be computer literate. Work, Excel and Outlook.

• The use of CAD software would be an advantage but not essential. Training can be provided

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• The ability to communicate at all levels from stop floor operatives through to board level.

• The ability to use Logikal software would be an advantage but not essential.

Role and Responsibilities

Departmental

• Overall responsibility for the Engineering Department with specific emphasis on training of fabricators and site installers. This involves management of a team of three staff members at this stage.

• To strive at all times to increase personal knowledge of products, and production techniques.

• To maintain adequate records at all times.

• To design, communicate, organise and deliver high quality structured training to customers, prospects, partners and colleagues.

• To design and deliver a planned training schedule, together with an authorised reservation system.

• To establish and carry out customer product presentation modules to improve awareness and promote new developments.

• To establish and carry out practical training modules within the Birmingham establishment & at fabricators premises and the site enviroment

• To liaise with the Sales to satisfy customer training needs.

• To provide practical support to fabricators

• To attend site and instruct installers on correct product application.

• To provide all training needs of Company staff.

• To ensure that all products are fit for purpose.

• To maintain adequate records of training, competency, customer satisfaction & issue certification to this end.

• To work in colberation with the Product Manager on the development of new products

• Monthly reporting to the Director of Technical Services on the status of department workload. This involves KPI measurement reporting

• To record activities on Salesforce on a daily basis

• To regularly review staff training and competency and provide 121 personal development revise for reporting staff

• To introduce an e-learning platform
