Web Developer - Full-Stack (PHP / Frontend)

Northampton (Hybrid)

£45k - £60k plus bonus, plus benefits.

We are looking for a full-stack Developer to join a fast-growing ecommerce business in Northampton, to join a small Web Development function who focus on building modern web applications.

After a recent takeover by a national, highly recognisable retail brand, it's exciting time for the business, as they embark on the next phase of their online journey. They have several projects in their runway, the first of which is a migration from their legacy CRM to a new bespoke platform, which they are in the process of building.

They are a PHP & Laravel house, so experience with backend programming in PHP MVC is needed, but you'll spend the majority of your time working on the Frontend, as this is where the current gap is. The role would suit a Frontend Developer who can jump on some PHP coding when needed.

Therefore, we are looking for Full-Stack Developer with a passion for Frontend Engineering. They currently use React, so experience with that would be ideal, although they are happy to consider Developers with have strong Javascript (ES6 and above) & CSS (SCSS / LESS) experience, coupled with exposure to a similar, modern frontend framework - such as VueJS or Angular.

The team are genuinely made up of nice people who love their tech and have a shared excitement for the upcoming projects they have. They are currently based just outside of Northampton but are moving to a new, larger office in August. Some work hybrid, and some go in every day - so they are flexible as long as you are.
