We have a 6-month contract opportunity for a SecOps Architect to join a large London Retailer (via consultancy) and play a key role in identifying gaps in their existing architectures as well as designing SOAR solutions and security architectures to mitigate threats as part of the delivery of their SOC capability.

Initially onsite for a couple of times a week in London, probably for the first month or so; to embed yourself into the team, alongside the Security Architect (who we are also hiring for) but you can then work remotely for the remainder of the project.

It's highly likely to extend too, so if you're having fun, this contract could roll on to 12 months and beyond.

So what will you be doing as our Security Ops Architect?

Initially, you'll come in and perform security assessments, identifying gaps and recommending improvements before designing & creating those architecture elements & frameworks to align with the business and security strategy.

You'll also design future deployments of SIEM solutions (alongside MSSP) as well as developing a roadmap to deliver an enterprise level security operations capability.

This would suit a highly capable SecOps specialist with expertise in designing SOAR & SIEM solutions for a SOC capability. Industry certifications would be advantageous too (CISSP, CISA, CISM, TOGAF or SABSA) but by no means a deal breaker.
