We have a 6-month contract opportunity for a Security Architect to join a large London Retailer (via consultancy) and play a key role planning and designing their cloud security architecture in Azure, as well as develop their service security and compliance requirements for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployments in GCP and AWS.

Initially onsite for a couple of times a week in London, probably for the first month or so; to embed yourself into the team, alongside the Security Operations Architect (who we are also hiring for) but you can then work remotely for the remainder of the project.

It's highly likely to extend too, so if you're having fun, this contract could roll on to 12 months and beyond.

So what will you be doing as our Cloud Security Architect?

Initially, you'll utilise your deep knowledge of information security industry best practices, modern automation tools and cloud environments to assess the existing compliance programs. Then, lead the planning of both the Azure / M365 security aarchitecture, but also the design of an enterprise business continuity & disaster recovery plan.

The Retailers target is to end up with a 'Zero Trust' strategy within a multi-cloud environment.

This would suit a highly capable Security specialist with expertise in designing & architecting Azure / M365 cloud security - ideally within an enterprise environment (bonus points if this is within Retail / Ecommerce).

Industry certifications would be advantageous too (CISSP, CISA, CISM, TOGAF or SABSA) but by no means a deal breaker.
