We have a 6-month contract opportunity for a Product Security Manager to join a Global Medical Device company (via consultancy) and play a key role in ensuring cybersecurity compliance for active medical devices over the entire product lifecycle.
This is a fantastic role for any Security Architect / CyberSec consultant who is interested in working in the lucrative medical device sector - no specific experience in this area is essential but of course would be beneficial. The end-client is also based in Germany, so there won't be any need to travel there, meaning this is a fully remote contract.
So what will you be doing as our Product Security specialist?
Number one job will be to assess the current acceptability of cybersecurity risks for active medical devices including benefit/risk assessments and define the risk control measures to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
You will also get involved with planning the product roadmap for the implementation of cybersecurity measures.
We are really keen to speak to Product Security specialists - ideally woth some exposure to the medical sector - but if not, Cyber Security / Compliance experience across similar products (Even IoT related) or R&D would be helpful.
Experience with a couple of the following regulatory frameworks would also be advantageous:
Industry certifications would be advantageous too (CISSP, CISA, CISM, TOGAF or SABSA) but by no means a deal breaker.
