Are you an experienced Credit Controller with sales ledger experience who now wants to step away from the phones and concentrate more on the cashiering side? Or are you an experienced Accounts professional looking to take a break from the stresses of month end and get into a role you can really make a difference?
 
 My client, a leading and growing company based on the outskirts of Coventry, are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a 3 month temporary assignment with a very strong view to becoming permanent for the right candidate! You will be reporting into the Credit Control Team Leader who will ensure you have all the support you need to succeed!

The role is due to a backlog of outstanding cash so the bulk of your day will consist of investigating the ledger and allocating cash. This is initially a 3 month temp assignment but has the potential to go perm for the right candidate!

This role will require you to "get stuck in" and will be a challenging but extremely rewarding position! Your typical duties will include:



  • Working through the ledger to allocate cash to the correct accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Daily banking
  • Production of BAC’s payments where needed
  • All associated admin

To be successful within this role, you will need the following:



  • A strong background in a similar position ie Sales Ledger
  • Intermediate Excel skills ie V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

Working hours for this role are 40 per week with either an 8am or 8.30am start.
