About The Company

My client is one of the leading Finacial services companies in the country, they are searching for an experienced Java Software Developer. You will be part of a team providing back-office services to recruitment agency clients that supply temp and contract workers to their clients. Their services include the implementation and licensing of the SaaS InTime Pay & Bill software; and outsourced pay & bill service which utilises the InTime software.

You will work in a small team, developing an existing web-based application, with guidance from the Development Manager. You will be a quick learner with a can-do attitude who knows when to ask for help. You will take responsibility for developing changes of various sizes and complexity which will grow over time.

General Requirements

For this role it is essential that candidates have skill and experience developing in the following software packages:

• Java
• HTML and CSS
• Javascript, including jQuery
• Bootstrap
• SQL

For this role it is preferred that candidates have skill and experience in the following areas:

• Grails/Groovy
• Spring Framework
• Hibernate
• AngularJS 1.x and above
• MVC Frameworks
• Security knowledge (OWASP top 10)
• Some knowledge of accounting/payroll would be beneficial
