AWS API Lead Platform Engineer- Enterprise level deployment

I seek a Lead Platform Engineer/ Devops to join a Warwickshire based organisation where IT is central to strategy. You will be carrying a huge profile within the next phase of growth as the company becomes API / Microservices / Cloud first enabling the company to continue its growth in international territories. In addition this is a key role in moving technical infrastructure forward and be the product owner for the enterprise platform.


Managing a small team this is very much a non passive role and very hands on role being a key link between infrastructure and development. Once you are post induction you will make decisions about where the platform should be going, what the long term strategy will be and what technology to get there working alongside the Head of Architecture.

Technically you will understand AWS Infrastructure as code and resources. A good API gateway background in tools such as OpenAPI and Swagger. A Containerisation background is imperative be it Kubernetes or Docker. An understanding of open source tools such as Terraform or Pulumi will be an advantage.

A Dev understanding around Javascript will be a nice to have.
