Our client is a worldwide AI scale-up organisation with a long successful history.

The company is looking for a Lead DevOps to join the team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting time to join the business where you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and developing a team of DevOps engineers, as well as working hands-on with cross-functional product team where you will work with software developers and data scientists to build the infrastructure we need.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of (currently 3) DevOps engineers.

• DevOps guild, define standards and improve our infrastructure across product lines.

• Be part of a cross-functional product team: working with software developers and data scientists to build the infrastructure we need.

• Work to improve security, performance and cost of our environments.

• Build infrastructure as code as well as reproducible changes to our environments.

Skills/ Experience:

• Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring high-performance technical teams.

• Container concepts: Docker, Kubernetes.

• Public cloud platforms: AWS / GCP.

• Strong system-level troubleshooting skills.

• Infrastructure as code (Terraform).

• Experience managing and setting up database clusters: NoSQL, SQL.

• Growth Mindset, Resilience and Flexibility.
