Customer Service Team Leader

Julie Rose Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader to join their client’s growing Customer Services Team. Someone who can champion a culture of professionalism and high standards of customer service. You will have experience of coaching and developing a team ideally in customer service, regularly providing feedback and carrying out one to one meetings. You will also review and update processes and procedures as well as support the Customer Services Manager with assigned project work.

Hours: Full time role, hours are 8:30am to 5pm with 45 mins for lunch and every other Friday off (wow !!!). 9 day fortnight!

Main duties for Customer Service Team Leader:

  • Manage the day to day duties of between 6 and 12 telephone-based customer service administrators in accordance with agreed service levels
  • Review, monitor and maintain quality controls of the team’s work, providing feedback
  • Identify and provide training required by the team
  • Regularly assesses the performance and behavioural competencies of team members
  • Review objectives and create training and development plans for your team
  • Dealing with customer complaints
  • Continuously improve and automate administration processes
  • Ensure procedures are up-to-date and fit for purpose
  • Working within agreed process and payment authority levels
  • Manage business practises, processes, changes and risks
  • Complete administration tasks as and when required

Person Specification for Customer Service Team Leader:

  • 2 years customer service team leading experience within an office environment
  • Strong mentoring and training skills
  • Achieved or willing to undertake a Level 3 award in Financial Administration (an in-house exam)
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Experience of planning, monitoring and controlling work
  • Experience of motivating, coaching and developing a team

You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team. You will receive individual and team training to develop you into the role as well as support to achieve a Level 3 award in Financial Administration.
