Julie Rose Recruitment are looking for an Accounts Assistant to carry out all duties below and to keep strong and reliable relationships with new and existing clients and suppliers. This role could lead to promotion into management accounts.
Duties of the Accounts Assistant:
- Checking accounts email and dealing with invoices and queries or forwarding to correct person
- Update spreadsheet with timesheet breakdown of cost center ready for capturing
- On Sage Line 50 – check sign off and coding and then capture onto Sage including project posting for both purchase invoices and sales invoices
- Debt collection
- Chase payment certificates on outstanding Applications
- Scanning, archiving and filing
- Printing off supplier and sub-contractor invoices and handing them out for sign off
- Saving a copy of PDF invoices onto the network
Person Specification for the Accounts Assistant:
- Purchase and sales ledger experience
- Credit control experience
