Our Client are seeking a talented professional to join their team as a European Business Development Director in Western Europe. With extensive experience in the industry, you will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while fostering client relationships.

In this role, your primary objective will be to drive business growth by effectively promoting full-service solutions and differentiating them from their competitors. You will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer to achieve revenue targets and develop sales opportunities. Building strong relationships with key decision-makers in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry will be essential to your success. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding client needs, developing account plans, and providing regular sales activity reports. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying informed about market trends and competitors' strategies will also be crucial.

To excel in this position, you should have a bachelor's degree in a scientific or business field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business development. Strong performance in prior roles, including exceeding sales targets, is a must. Your extensive experience in providing CRO services to the biotech/pharmaceutical market, along with a deep network of industry contacts, will enable you to effectively manage accounts and identify growth opportunities. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, coupled with proficiency in the MS Office suite, will be essential in this role.
