Sonder & Metric are currently hiring for a Project Administrator to join a growing engineering and construction company working within the renewable energy industry. Working on some innovative projects, you will be at the heart of a company making genuine changes to help the energy crisis we currently face.
The role
Working in a hybrid role, out of their offices in Bury St Edmunds, the Project Administrator will support a number of core internal functions to ensure that projects are progressed to meet deadlines and managed effectively.
As a core part of the projects team, you will support planning, design, commercial and construction teams to coordinate project activities, tying together the different functions and allowing for effective communication across all areas of the business.
Our client has a growing portfolio of projects which are due to enter construction-phase within the coming months. As Project Administrator, you will be working across different projects alongside multiple stakeholders, providing order in a busy environment.
Core Skills & Behaviours
Administration experience - ideally within a construction/engineering/technical environment
Excellent communication skills
Organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
Self motivated, with the drive to take personal ownership of tasks.
Able to meet challenging deadlines
Comfortable in dealing with stakeholders of all levels
Able to provide cross functional support to different departments simultaneously
Confident in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, Report Writing, and Data Analysis
Capable of supporting financial teams to manage project finance
