My client is a nationwide respected and recognised Print & Packaging Solutions business who is seeking to appoint an accomplished Business Development Manager to manage a large array of Packaging Clients, whilst also significantly expanding their reputation & presence with high profile Brands across the UK. Having invested significantly and intelligently in their new site (locking down 15,000 square metres of industrial space in the city of Edinburgh) and the installation of brand new finishing kits as part of a wider £1.6M investment to drive its smooth operational transition into packaging - the company is going through a significant period of growth and expansion, providing the opportunity for exciting and comprehensive career progression for the successful candidate.
They are entering a new & exciting stage of development, seeking a dynamic & aspirational Sales Executives or Client / Business Development Managers to take on the responsibility of managing that existing Business, whilst further driving their strategy, capability and Sales growth in the carton packaging arena, building more widely on their already developed presence in the food product markets. This is a remote position whereby you can be based anywhere within Scotland, you will have a demonstrable track record of delivering significant new business wins & account growth, be truly dynamic and not simply process driven, a strong networker and possessing a demonstrable breadth of the Luxury Packaging and how it's defined. You will have the maturity & responsibility to work with the Leadership team in defining & delivering their medium to long term strategies for the identification, positioning, pitching & conversion of new business wins.
Key attributes required:
• Strong knowledge of the printed Luxury folding box board / cartons market
• Successful track record in new business sales • Effective communicator, natural leader, willing to grow and develop the team
• Ambitious, dynamic & aspirational, keen to source and win new business, develop Client relationships & build the Business' Carton Packaging proposition
In this fast paced, demanding & yet entrepreneurial environment, you will be accustomed to a strongly autonomous responsibility, possess a sound commercial acumen, a clear understanding of the Client demands & the Business' Production capability, plus critically, the personality, experience and ability to add & drive growth & value through your enhanced Client relationship development/liaison skills.
