Account Manager – Marketing Insight & Data Analytics

Our client is a leading name in data analytics, marketing insight & multi-channel customer communications. Due to serious growth, they are looking for a proven account manager from a marketing agency, data analytics or technology background to join them at this exciting stage of their development.

The overall purpose of the job is to act as the primary contact point for your designated clients ensuring that client needs are met, contractual obligations are fulfilled and that service levels are delivered.

In addition, you will be seeking to continuously improve, innovate and find new ways to proactively help our clients achieve their outcomes whilst growing our network and reach.

You will work alongside our award-winning team of analysts, developers, strategists and planners, proposing new insights or marketing actions that will increase client sales and our revenues, as well as planning and prioritising workload between the client and the analytics team.

You will be responsible for ensuring the end delivery obligations of all activity within the business on behalf of the clients are met and the primary point of resolution and queries.

Client Facing Responsibilities:

  • Account managing your clients on a day-to-day basis, nurturing and growing our relationships
    • Status reports where agreed
    • Review meetings with the client
    • Ensuring all work is signed off by the client
  • To adhere to the internal procedures for project trafficking and invoicing
  • To work with the Head of Strategy and Head of Client Services to produce a regular account planning document and pipeline review for each account
  • To manage all client briefs and orchestrate internal and external resources to deliver against the brief
  • To understand and identify market trends to help grow incremental revenue/commercial opportunities within the client’s marketplace, plus be aware of competitor activity
  • To identify new opportunities within existing clients for growth, working closely with the senior leadership team and delivery SME’s
  • To market the range and scope of the group portfolio to the client, with the support of SME’s

Internal Responsibilities:

  • To traffic manage clients workload alongside internal delivery partners
  • To ensure resource is scheduled and client activity is prioritised accordingly, ensuring utilisation levels are maximised to achieve the commercial targets
  • To act as primary triage for client communications
