Venari Finance is delighted to be supporting our multi site client in Glasgow to recruit a Operations Finance Manager.

Our client has a strong track record of progressing careers over a short period of time and are looking for an ambitious finance professional to lead one of their sites.

This would suit a qualified candidate with a strong business partnering skill set.

Role overview:

• Ownership of the monthly management accounts, ensuring timely reporting, accuracy of numbers and value add commentary explaining the period performance.
• People management of the 1 direct report
• Ownership for the P&L to ensure timely, accurate and robust financial forecasting throughout the budget process. This will involve strong stakeholder management to collate information from other teams
• Ownership of bridging financial forecasts to previous forecast, understanding any significant differences, and collating the new financial forecast in to a presentation that can be distributed to senior management.
• Manage the operational balance sheet, including accruals, prepayments & fixed assets.
• Management of the system including bi-annual review, reviewing; efficiencies, waste, cost in preparation of the budget and forecast, material and labour usage.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant- ICAS, CIMA ACCA
• Strong analysis skill set
• Ability to work across senior stakeholders
• Strong Leadership skills
