Finance Manager
Venari Finance are delighted to be engaged exclusively with our international manufacturing client in Kilmarnock to recruit their new Finance Manager.
The role will be site finance lead, reporting directly into the General Manager. The role will support the wider finance team and will be part of the site leadership team. This would suit a qualified finance professional with previous manufacturing exposure.
Salary up to £60,000 with the role being prodominently site based with flexibility. Option of a 4 day working week/9 day fortnight.
Role Overview:
- Responsible for the dissemination of all Financial Information on a timely and appropriate manner and for the adequacy of the company which will enable monitoring of costs / income related to various departments. Create weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual Financial Reports whereby all financial business metrics are monitored against budget and action driven where required.
- Approval of all purchase orders and all sales enquiries of the business to ensure adequate control is in place. The purchase orders should be required by the business and have value for money. The sales enquiries are to be in line with the Expected margins and lead times of the business.
- Responsible for preparation of consolidated accounting statements for the business and its subsidiaries every month for group reporting purpose.
- Responsible for overall asset management in the company
- Monitor the Accounting Process – systems and cost overhead control. Manage the annual audit process and ensure the adequacy of Internal Controls
- Ensuring Company adherence to Local Tax and Company law regulations.
- Responsible for the preparation of the annual Budgets of the Company and periodical forecast (Reviews) of Company performance and its direct subsidiaries, in conjunction with the Operations Departments and other department Heads.
- Responsible for reporting to Management and other Directors of Risks and Opportunities of the business and quantifying their financial impact.
- Responsible for reporting the performance of the company to CEO
- Reviews all important company contracts such as Technical Service Agreements, Contracts with Principals, Tenders and Contracts with third parties.
- Capital Expenditure appraisal and control. Ensure that the Capital Expenditure guidelines are adhered to with regards to appraisal, levels and approval.
- Responsible for ensuring the adequacy of Insurance for the Company and direct subsidiaries.
- Responsible for performance appraisal/review and training of Finance & Administration staff of the Company.
